Winter has well and truly arrived. Enjoy these cool days by rugging up, and embracing winter traditions like ice skating, warm drinks and comfort food. Our list this month invites you to take advantage of the season and enjoy our city's great culture.

July 5th - 21st - Parramatta Winterlight

Prince Alfred Square is transforming into a magical winter wonderland in the July school holidays. The famous festival has plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, with an ice rink, a 30m slide made out of ice, a ferris wheel and other carnival rides, and circus activities. After all that fun, enjoy a meal at the Alpine Food Village.

July 11th - 14th - The Rocks Christmas in July Village

Have you always dreamed of a White Christmas? Visit the Rocks this July for a taste of a wintry festive season. Set between Jack Mundey Place and Playfair St, the French inspired Village will be sprinkled with snow, dotted with wooden chalets and smell of Christmas pine. Make sure to bring your ice-skates for the pop-up ice rink as well. With mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, gingerbread houses and your favourite Christmas tunes, you'll feel like you're in a Christmas dream for the night.
