Muffin Break faces backlash after boss says millennials won't do unpaid work

"George Pell's lawyers have launched a last-ditch attempt at sparing the cardinal from serving any time in jail, by having him apply for bail before the Court of Appeal. Pell is listed to front the County Court at 10am on Wednesday for a pre-sentence hearing after he was found guilty of sexually abusing two 13-year-old choirboys at St Patrick's Cathedral in East Melbourne in 1996."

"George Pell's lawyer, Robert Richter QC, has apologised for describing Pell's crimes as "no more than a plain vanilla sexual penetration case", after the words sparked a widespread backlash from abuse survivors." 

'Not clear': Startups say they're still in limbo on copyright

"Australia's startup community says it's frustrated it's still facing unknowns on copyright enforcement and take-down notice policies. In a submission to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on its preliminary digital platforms report this month, StartupAus rejected the watchdog's recommendation that a mandatory standard be set for how take-down notices are issued when copyright-infringing content is found on a site.
