Why your business isn’t too small for a business advisory lawyer

'Now wait just a minute’, you think. ‘My business really isn’t large enough to justify seeking legal advice.’

It’s not just publically listed, multinational companies that need legal advice!

Small and medium sized businesses can just as easily find themselves in disputes with employees, contractors or partners. It is even more important for a small business to be assured of their legal position and agreements because the costs associated with resolving a dispute may be fatal to their business.

Your business may be small today, but all of you want to grow. It is vital that the proper fundamentals and documentation are in place as your business grows and develops. Patchy and hastily put together documents are a large risk to a business. For example, an improperly drafted or amended shareholders’ agreement or buy/sell agreement may not be enforceable when it counts.

Our BA Lawyers will come alongside you and, as a member of your team, help guide the growth of your business. They can help you negotiate the terms of your contract, or give you useful legal insights as to the consequences of a business decision.

This is not legal advice.
