    Unfair Dismissals for Casual Employees

    Employees have a right to make a claim for unfair dismissal if they believe that the dismissal was harsh, unjust or unreasonable. This right only arises, however, after a period of time and if the employee satisfies other criteria. Employees who are employed on a casual basis can only apply for unfair dismissal in certain circumstances.
